Procedure to avail the student services at the Examination Branch

  1. TRANSCRIPTS:

    The Candidates who desire to take the transcripts need to follow the steps mentioned here under:

    • Download the application form for the transcript Download Transcript Application Form
    • Amount chargeable for each transcript is Rs. 60.00. The Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD for the total amount should be made ready.
    • Duly filled in “Transcripts Application Form” forwarded by the Principal, if the candidate isstudying should be submitted at the student service counter at the Examination Branch along with the Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD.
    • In the case of the candidates who completed their course, can submit directly their filled-in application at the student service counter at the Examination Branch along with the Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD.
    • If the candidate who passed their degrees prior to 1999 have to apply for manual transcripts, for which the candidate should submit the filled-in application form along with the required number of photo-copies (Xerox copies) of the documents, duly attested by the Principal, with stamp of the College/Institution, where the student has completed the course, along with the Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD.

  2. UNDERTAKING FOR LEAVING SUBJECTS/ GRACE MARKS / TATKAL SCHEME

    • What is Undertaking: If a student acquires sufficient credits for the issue of Provisional Certificate as per their academic regulations, and failed in one or two subjects, the student can forego the performance in these failed subjects and can apply for the issue of Provisional Certificate. Here the student has to give an undertaking stating that he/she will never apply for the supplementary exams conducted by the University in the future.
    • What is Grace marks: If a student fails in one or two subject, pass in these subjects is essential for acquiring the required credits (for the issue of Provisional Certificate), and by adding few additional marks*, the student is able to pass the subject(s), then such grace marks will be added and the Provisional Certificate will be issued to the candidate. If any candidate applies for the grace marks, the Original Marks Memo(s) containing the subject(s) for which addition of Grace Marks are applicable should be submitted along with the letter.
    • What is Tatkal Scheme: For the issue of Certificates after the declaration of results, the examination branch may take about ten days to two weeks time. If there is an urgency in getting the certificate, the candidate may apply for the same certificate under Tatkal scheme. Under this scheme the student can get the certificate within two working days time.
    • How to make payment (if applicable): The Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD should be taken for the total amount specified.

    Please refer the following table for the combinations of cases for which one single application is sufficient. Also please note that the for all these cases the letter must be endorsed by the College Principal where the student is studying.

  3. DUPLICATE DEGREE CERTIFICATE

    The Candidates who desire to take the Duplicate Degree Certificate need to submit a signed application form along with the following attachments:

    • A Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD for Rs. 10,000/-
    • Original copy of Police Report stating the original degree certificate is not traced.
    • Photocopy of ID Proof.
    • Photocopy of Provisional Certificate / Degree Certificate.
    • Notarized Affidavit on Rs. 20/- Non-Judicial bond-paper Download Affidavit Form

  4. DUPLICATE MARKS MEMOS AND CMM

    The Candidates who desire to take the Duplicate Mark Memo and CMM Certificate need to follow the steps mentioned here under:

    • Requisition from the candidate through the Principal, if the candidate is studying in a college. In the case of the candidate completed his/her course, can submit directly his/her requisitions to the Examination Branch.
    • Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD for the total amount @ Rs. 200/- per Marks Memo / CMM.
    • Duplicate Provisional Certificate cannot be issued as per the University norms.

  5. NAME/ FATHER NAME CORRECTION

    The Candidates who desire to take the Name / Father Name Correction need to follow the steps mentioned here under

    • Requisition from the candidate through the Principal, if the candidate is studying in a college. In the case of the candidate completed his/her course, can submit directly his/her requisitions to the Examination Branch.
    • Original Certificate(s) in which correction(s) is/are required.
    • Photocopy of SSC.
    • If the correction is in Marks Memo / CMM, the Challan (Issued at any SBI)/DD should be taken for the total amount at the rate of Rs. 50/- per Marks Memo / CMM (ie Rs. 50/- for each certificate) and If the correction is in Provisional Certificate, Challan (Issued at any SBI)/ D.D should be taken for Rs. 250/-.
    • If the student name is completely different, then Clearance Certificate issued by the ACE(Academic) at the University exam branch should also be enclosed.

  6. MIGRATIN CERTIFICATE

    The Candidates who desire to take the Migration Certificate need to follow the steps mentioned here under:

    • Requisition letter from the Student letter.
    • PC Xerox Copy
    • Challan (Issued at any SBI)DD for Rs. 100/-

  7. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

    The Candidates who desire to take the Medium of Instruction Certificate need to follow the steps mentioned here under

    • Requisition from the Student letter.
    • PC Xerox Copy
    • Challan (Issued at any SBI)DD for Rs. 50/-

  8. PERMISSION FOR SCRIBE TO APPEAR FOR EXAMINATIONS

    The Candidates who desire to take the Scribe to follow the steps mentioned here under

    • Medical Certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon working in a Government Hospital.
    • Photo of the student / candidate highlighting the inability to appear for the examination.
    • The Particulars of proposed scribe i.e., name, address, qualifications and present occupation. [The scribe should be of intermediate qualification with arts subjects only.
    • A letter from the scribe stating that he /she is willing to act as scribe.
    • A copy of the certificate of scribe’s qualification along with recent photograph duly attested by the Principal.
    • A letter from the Principal stating that he/she personally verified and satisfied regarding qualification of the scribe as per norms and that he/she will provide a separate room and invigilator for all the examinations of the candidate.
